The Day Cookie Was lost is so immersive. Can't imagine how Susan kept me glued all the way. I'll be looking forward to more of Susan's.

This story is told through the eyes of Cookie the Pomeranian who got lost whilst on a walk with her mum and sister.
Cute little story which was easy to read and understand and I especially liked that the illustrations were actually photos - just made it all a bit different and more personal— Kristi J. rated it ★★★
This book is super cute. The pictures are really fun. It is a great book for a classroom setting for guided reading groups or for students to read at home. The story, about a little dog that gets lost, is cute and descriptive. Having actual photographs instead of illustrations is what makes me think of it as a book for a classroom. It is good for children to read books with photographs sometimes in addition to the books they read with illustrations and a lot of times, children skip over the books with photographs. But I think this book is so cute and sweet that kids will love looking at the photographs. It also can spark a great discussion for what children should do if they get separated from their parents.
